Beth has been a psychologist for more than 30 years. Initially, she worked as a teacher in NSW before moving to Malaysia, where she further developed her understanding of diverse Asian cultures. She later worked in NSW schools, leading a team of psychologists in a newly developing area of Western Sydney. Through this work, she developed special interests in learning difficulties and intellectual and physical disabilities, supporting school leaders, staff, parents, and students.
Beth has considerable experience supporting people who have been exposed to trauma. As an Army officer, she worked closely with veterans and their families. Her understanding of Defence families enables her to provide tailored support to serving and ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
She has also worked with, and alongside, first responders, hospital staff, and communities affected by natural disasters such as cyclones, floods, and bushfires. Beth has attended numerous critical incidents, providing support to police, paramedics, and other emergency personnel.
Corporate, business, and government clients have also benefited from Beth’s support through personal counselling, career guidance, workplace stress management, coaching, and Employee Assistance Programs.
Beth provides therapy for individuals, couples, and families experiencing life transitions, health concerns, and relationship challenges. More recently, she completed the Understanding Dementia course through the University of Tasmania.
She is an internationally registered grief therapist, having completed the 2025 Grief Educator Program created and led by internationally recognised grief expert, David Kessler.
