Sharon Evans is an ESSA-accredited Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) with over 20 years’ experience delivering evidence-based exercise interventions across chronic disease management, preventative health, and elite sport.
She has worked with the NSW Men’s Cricket Team, NSW Swifts, and Manly United FC, and has lectured in clinical settings at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Osteoporosis & Bone Health Exercise Management
Sharon specialises in exercise management for osteoporosis and osteopenia, prescribing individualised, progressive, and risk-stratified exercise programs to improve bone strength, balance, and functional capacity, and to reduce falls and fracture risk.
She has strong working knowledge of osteoporosis medications and medical management pathways, enabling exercise prescription to be appropriately timed and adapted alongside medical treatment, in collaboration with referring GPs and specialists.
Diabetes Exercise & Education – Collaborative Care
As a Diabetes Educator, Sharon provides exercise-focused diabetes education and management, supporting glycaemic control, cardiovascular risk reduction, and long-term self-management.
Her role is to complement endocrinology and GP care, with clear communication, shared treatment goals, and structured feedback. She practises strictly within professional scope and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
