After completing an undergraduate degree in Psychology, Dr Sacks trained to be a Doctor at Southampton University in the United Kingdom, qualifying in 1996.
He rotated through a range of specialties at St. Mary's Hospital in London including Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, General Medicine/Elderly Care, Accident & Emergency and Psychiatry.
He finally specialised in General Practice, qualifying in 2002.
Richard founded his own private medical practice in London where he worked as a Family Doctor before immigrating with his family to Sydney in 2017.
He enjoys General and Family Medicine, and has a special interest in Chronic Disease Management, Gynaecology and Paediatrics.
He is a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney and a GP trainee supervisor.
